Some links on Lap of Nature are affiliate links. If you click one and then book or buy, the company may pay us a commission. You pay the same price either way.
Affiliate links are marked with rel="sponsored", and pages that contain them say so near the top.
How this affects our recommendations
It doesn't. We recommend campgrounds, stays and gear based on what they cost and how well they suit the trip. Most public campgrounds we cover pay us nothing, and we recommend them anyway. Our editorial policy explains how we research and update our guides.
